Question: How many of the past 2 Illinois governors have been arrested for corruption?

Gotta love good old IL.  I thought this was worthy enough to break my blog hiatus.  A quote from Blago on Monday: "whether you tape me privately or publicly, I can tell you that whatever I say is always lawful and the things I'm interested in are always lawful. And if there are any things out there like that, what you'll hear is a governor who tirelessly and endlessly figures out ways to help average, ordinary working people."

If by "average, ordinary working people" he means himself, then he's speaking truth.  Otherwise, the man is a liar full of b.s. who had the audacity to think that he would never get caught for his huge level of corruption.

I mean, seriously, people of Illinois, can we please elect a governor that is not corrupt?  Is that possible?  Jim Edgar, will you please come back to office?

Our state is a laughingstock to the country because of all the corruption in our state and local governments.
